What Would Jesus Do?

Loving is not always synonymous to being nice. The Lord Jesus at one time used a whip to drive out the money changers and overturned their tables because, as the Bible says, the zeal for his own house consumed him (John 2:15-17).

But did he sin? NO. And I do believe not one modern-day Christian Pharisee will ever dare accuse Him of sinning or for being disrespectful because of what He did. Why is that? Because of hypocrisy.

When traditional beliefs are challenged the immediate reaction is to cry and to cry foul. We don’t want our traditional beliefs challenged so instead of reflecting on what the Bible is really saying, we turn against the truth tellers (Gal. 4:16) and accuse them of being too judgmental for not being nice even though they did not even use a whip to tell the truth.
