Walkers of Truth and Love
“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.” (3 John 1:4)
Here are the recommended 7-point pledge for those who wish to join “The Walkers of Truth and Love.” ?”The Walkers” must walk in firmly in truth and love:
- Walkers of Truth and Love must be Bible-based not emotion-based nor superstitious. (Acts 17:22; Gal 4:16).
- Walkers of Truth and Love must love the truth (2 Thes. 2:10).
- Walkers of Truth and Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth (1 Cor. 13:6 ).
- God is love, therefore Walkers of Truth and Love must love one another just as Christ loved all those who walk in the truth and love (1 John 4:8).
- Jesus is the way the truth and the life (John 14:6); he is the light of the world (John 9:5); therefore those who follow him must be a city that cannot be hidden (Mat. 5:14)
- Expose those who pervert and denounce truth and love Biblically, that is, according to the Word of God, the scriptures ?(Eph. 5:11).
- Study the Word with diligence, preach it to correct, rebuke and encourage in and out of season (2 Tim 2:15; 4:2).
“Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.” (Psalm 86:11)
